Someone gifted me this nail polish a good 3 years ago and I wasn't a huge fan of dark colours so I just left it sitting in my collection until I decided to give it a try and Oh my.... would you believe that this colour is amazing! Models Own Deep purple is just as it's labelled a deep purple. In different lighting and at different angles the colour ranges from a black shimmery grey to a gorgeous deep purple. The weather in Sydney has been up and down lately, sunny one day and rainy the next and this nail colour is just perfect with two glamorous colours in different lighting.

It's very similar to the duochorme nail polishes that are out at the moment and I this it's absolutely amazing. Definitely hitting up this bottle again soon. For me the first coat seemed quite sheer because I like to put on a thin coat so it just dries faster and easier. And by the second coat it was perfect. Don't fret if it doesn't look deep purple the second you finish, the colour definitely changes if you move from a dull lighting to a brighter one.
