Usually you all know I use Revlon's Top coat, and its served me well over the last couple of years and I've never really strayed from it since its super and does the job. So I was down to the very last 0.5ml of the bottle and I needed a new topcoat or I wouldn't be doing my nails until I got my hands on one. Mia told me Sally Hansen top coats seem to be recommended by manicurists and I thought why not, lets give it a try. Whilst hunting for simply a top coat, I ended up buying some China Glaze polishes online. So I have really quick reviews below of each polish and a more in depth review might be coming soon.
Cutex Long wear top coat & Sally Hansen Diamond Flash |
China Glaze (left to right): Strong Adhesion base coat, No-Chip Top Coat |
China Glaze (left to right): Peachy Keeny, Aztec Orange, Fifth Avenue, Manhunt |
Swatch |
These four are my first China Glaze polishes so I didn't have much expectation and I was surprised at the inconsistency between all the bottles.
(Top to bottom quick review)
Fifth Avenue: a very nice consistency, with great coverage even with just one coat
Manhunt: A gorgeous blue, dupe of OPI Dating a Royal
Peachy Keen: very thick consistency and I think I need to add some thinner in, but great with just one coat
Aztec Orange: Very thin consistency that I thought it would be sheer but it's not, looks amazing with two coats
