Back on our nail blog we posted a travel nail essentials for when we flew to the Gold Coast and now here comes part II and we're in SINGAPORE!!! YAY!!! We absolutely love traveling and I cannot go anywhere right now without my nails all polished up. Because of the length and it just does not look good that long without anything covering it. Its like I'm giving my nails clothes to wear hahahaha.
What I brought along with me is my highly loved Nine West polish, in Pink and Nude. Of course I also brought along China Glaze base coat and Sally Hansen's Diamond shine top coat.
For the first week of Singapore I've just gone with very simple pink nails. And you know this gorgeous pink is absolutely perfect for Singapore weather. My nails are so long I need to trim them when I'm back in Sydney!! Do you like my stripy pajamas? XD
Just as the second week started I realised I didn't bring any nail polish remover and I'll explain in another post why I didn't buy any and just use it. So I had to come up with a way to mix it up and little and to incorporate the nude. So i used some cling wrap/plastic wrap and scrunched it up, dipped it in the nude polish and just dabbed it on top of the pink. As sublte as it is I think it looks amazing and would definitely try it with other colour combinations like black and white, pink and green, blue and black. It's best to go with contrasting colours as it will show up more, unlike my pink and nude combination.
All you need is a like a square or a small section of a plastic bag/cling wrap and scrunch it up so you can dab dab dab away!! I like to use some form of plastic so its more easy to maneuver and less hard compared to paper, making it harder to wrap around the nail when you're dabbing away.
I had absolutely amazing fun doing this and it felt very therapeutic dabbing and dabbing and more dabbing. A little tip is that if you don't have nail polish remover and all you have is a correction pen, you really need to try and avoid the skin around your nails. Another little tip is to avoid just a large blob of colour with no dabbing pattern you need to remove excess from your clump of cling wrap by dabbing on a piece of paper.

If you give this a try, I would absolutely LOVE to see what colour combinations you decide to have and even if it's the same I would love to see it! Show us on facebook, twitter or even instagram, Don't forget @MisaAvenue!!
